Please review the following update regarding current Facebook page access issues affecting our organization.
Good Afternoon Everyone,
We would first like to sincerely apologize for any inconvenience or frustration that these recent Facebook page access changes may be causing. We understand how important these pages are for daily communication and church operations, and we truly appreciate your patience and understanding during this time.
Recently, Meta has been implementing both publicly announced and silent infrastructure changes that have affected Facebook page management and accessibility. Unfortunately, many of these changes are not communicated in advance, requiring us to continuously adapt and identify safe workarounds as Meta updates its systems.
Due to these ongoing changes, we have also been required to internally restructure parts of our page management process in order to help reduce restrictions, improve stability, and continue supporting page access moving forward.
As part of this process, we are temporarily limiting the number of users who may manage pages while migrations and infrastructure updates are completed.
We understand this transition may be frustrating for some users, and we sincerely appreciate your patience, cooperation, and understanding while we work through these changes carefully and securely.
Page access limitations may occur during migration due to Meta’s ongoing infrastructure and internal management restructuring.
Migration to Meta Portfolio is currently in progress, allowing users to be gradually transitioned into a centralized management system for improved stability.
As mentioned above, temporary access interruptions may occur during migration. Most migrations complete within the same day, though delays of 2–3 days may occur depending on Meta system restrictions and security reviews.
Access limitation update: Page management is temporarily restricted to one approved user per page due to system capacity limitations during migration.
Meta Portfolio Enrollment Update: All approved users will be added to the official Meta Portfolio titled "The Universal Church, Inc. - Ads". Within the next 2 weeks, users will receive an invitation to their personal email to join this portfolio.
Support & Priority Update: Our team has begun assisting and prioritizing the 65 church pages approved for advertisement, due to a high volume of messages and increased user interaction across pages.
Facebook profiles with page access should reflect the user’s real legal name (Pastor or Pastor’s Wife). This helps reduce verification issues and supports smoother migration.
Maintaining accurate identity alignment helps reduce the risk of restrictions or delays during migration.
Please review profile name changes carefully, as Meta only allows name changes once every 60 days. Double-check all updates before saving.
We understand this process may be frustrating for users currently experiencing access issues. However, we kindly ask that users refrain from creating alternative or replacement Facebook pages at this time.
Creating new pages may interfere with Meta’s authentication systems and could delay migration and recovery efforts further.
During this migration process, user profiles will be reviewed against our internal employee verification list to confirm authorized access.
Official page access is limited to verified church employees. In most cases, this will primarily apply to Pastors and Pastors’ Wives, though limited exceptions may be reviewed where internal verification confirms official employment status.
These measures are being implemented to help improve page stability, security, and compliance during migration.
Facebook Ads are continuing to operate as normal and remain unaffected by page access limitations or migration changes.
If your page is part of the approved ads program, you may contact Camila and request that the preferred method of communication temporarily be changed from Facebook messaging to phone communication while the migration process is being completed. This helps prevent users from being left unattended during periods of temporary access limitations.
If you require further assistance, have additional questions, concerns, or would like updates regarding your page access or migration status, please contact your local State Office Assistant and request that a Helpdesk ticket be submitted on your behalf for further review or status updates.
Thank you again for your patience, understanding, and cooperation while we continue working through these ongoing infrastructure changes and migrations.
